Jeff Salter, founder and CEO of Caring Senior Service, will participate as a faculty member on the National Association for Home Care & Hospice’s (NAHC) Home Care & Hospice Town Hall on May 27, 2020 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm EST. The topic for this week’s meeting is “How COVID-19 has Sparked New Opportunities for Private-Duty Care.” This virtual meeting will focus on how home care and hospice leaders have been dealing with the current health crisis.
Jeff’s leadership during this time has led Caring Senior Service to take specific measures to help prevent the spread of infectious disease, including the development of an infection control specialty care program and supplying personal protective equipment to staff members across the country.
Joining Jeff as a faculty member for the town hall webinar are Emilie Bartolucci, Executive Director of the Private Duty Homecare Association and Sheila Davis, Senior Executive Vice President of Operations at Always Best Senior Care Services.
The town hall is free for both members and non-members. Registration for the event includes both the live and recorded event.
Referencing this event, Jeff said, “While there’s a lot we don’t know about COVID-19, we do know that our senior population is at a higher risk of health complications due to the virus. For us to help protect our seniors, it’s important that care providers come together and share their strategies, successes, and even failures on combating COVID-19. I hope to see many of you attend and participate in this NAHC meeting so we can all benefit from each other’s experiences.”
