We believe that every senior should be able to remain healthy, happy and at home.
Founded in 1991, Caring Senior Service has a long history of leadership in the home care industry. Jeff Salter, Founder and CEO, stills owns and operates Caring Senior Service locations today. If you are considering buying a senior care franchise with us, learn more about our story below.
ADDRESSING A GAP IN SENIOR CARE
As a college student pursuing a computer science degree, Caring Senior Service founder, Jeff Salter, worked at a home health company where he witnessed many families struggle with local and long-distance coordination of daily care. He knew there had to be a better way. So, he applied his technical knowledge and understanding of the home care business to develop a more robust delivery system and higher standard of care for families. In 1991, his hard work resulted in the formation of Caring Senior Service, a non-medical home care company to help seniors remain independent and in their homes longer.
HELPING MORE SENIORS AGE IN PLACE
Over the course of the next decade, more families realized their aging loved ones could remain at home with the helping hand of a caregiver, and Jeff expanded into multiple locations. He also recognized that the growing senior population across the US meant there would need to be high-quality services in every community. In 2002, Jeff began franchising Caring's proven business model, enabling compassionate entrepreneurs to provide high-quality home care services and improving care options for more families in their communities.
LEVERAGING TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE SERVICE
Our in-home tablets and online family portal provide better communication between family members and their loved ones, access to caregiver schedules, real-time caregiver tracking, and up-to-date service plans for the care of their loved ones.
We believe that every senior should be able to remain healthy, happy and at home.
